One person shot dead in Kelaniya

A person has been shot and killed by two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle at Pattiya Junction in Kelaniya.

The gunmen had arrived on a scooter motorcycle and opened fire at the victim who was walking on the road. 

Police said that the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained and that they suspect the shooting was carried out using a pistol. 

Kelaniya Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
