Infant found abandoned inside train restroom

An infant has been found abandoned inside the lavatory of an express train travelling from Colombo-Batticaloa.
The abandoned infant was discovered at the Colombo Fort railway station at around 7.00 p.m. today.
The police have been called to inform of the infant who was later admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo.
The police have launched to locate the parents of the child.
