Water tariffs to be increased from tomorrow

Water tariffs will be revised from tomorrow (Aug 03), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced.
Accordingly, the relevant gazette notification will be issued tonight, it said.
The General Manager of the NWSDB mentioned that the water tariffs will be increased by around 30% to 50%.
However, he also expressed that low-income families will not be affected by the tariff revision.
