Litro Gas says no price revision in December

Litro Gas Lanka, one of the two leading suppliers of domestic Liquefied Petroleum (LP) gas in the country, has decided to refrain from imposing a price hike in the month of December, in view of the upcoming festive season.

Issuing a press release in this regard, Litro chairman Muditha Peiris stated that although the prices of domestic LP gas cylinders should ideally be increased in view of international price fluctuations and the current exchange rate of the US dollar, the gas company decided against doing so this month in view of the upcoming festive season.

Thus, the prices of Litro gas cylinders will remain as follows:
• 12.5kg cylinder – Rs. 3,565
• 5kg cylinder – Rs. 1,431
• 2.3kg cylinder – Rs. 668
