Vadivel Suresh appointed Advisor to the President

Parliamentarian Vadivel Suresh has been appointed as an Advisor to President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Accordingly, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Badulla District MP has been appointed as Advisor to President Ranil Wickremesinghe on the full integration of up-country Tamils into Sri Lankan society.
Suresh was recently removed from his position as the SJB’s Passara Organiser. The decision was reportedly taken by the party in the wake of the Parliamentarian voting in favour during the vote on the second reading of the 2024 Budget.
