New date announced for 2023 A/L Agri. Science papers I and II

The 2023 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination’s Agricultural Science question paper I has also been annulled, says the Department of Examinations while announcing a fresh date for the relevant exams.

On 12 January, the Department of Examinations decided to cancel the second paper of the 2023 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination’s Agricultural Science subject, due to reports that several questions of the paper had been leaked on social media prior to the exam.

Meanwhile, investigations into the incident carried out by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) have now uncovered that several questions from paper I of the Agricultural Science subject had also been leaked, the Examinations Department said in a statement today.

Accordingly, the Department said that both question papers have now been annulled with immediate effect, and the new exam date and time are as follows:

Date: 01 February 2024

Time: 

08:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. – Paper II

01:00 p.m. to 03:00 p.m. – Paper I

The Department further said that the admission card for school applicants for this exam will be sent to the respective school principals, while admission cards for private applicants will be mailed to them.
