910 more suspects arrested during operation ‘Yukthiya’

A total of 910 more suspects have been arrested during a 24-hour window ending at 12:30 a.m. today (22 Jan.), as the special anti-drug operation ‘Yukthiya’ continues across the island.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, 65kg of heroin, 136g of crystal methamphetamine (Ice) and 254 narcotic pills were taken into custody during the this period.
