IGP Tennakoon summoned before Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has ordered Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon to appear before the courts tomorrow (04).
The police chief is being summoned to inquire into several Fundamental Rights petitions filed by a group of Chief Inspectors with respect to transfers, Ada Derana correspondent said.
The summons were issued by a three-member bench presided over by Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya.
