Special postal service on April 12

Sri Lanka Post has decided to implement a special postal and courier service during the upcoming long weekend on the occasion of Ramadan and the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

Issuing a statement, Postmaster General S. R. W. M. R. P. Sathkumara stated that accordingly, special services will be available through the post offices and sub-post offices across the island for Cash On Delivery (COD), SL post courier and EMS on April 12 despite being a holiday.
