Woman and her paramour arrested over murder of husband

A woman, 33, and her paramour, 63, have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 39-year-old man. The victim was the husband of the female arrestee, according to the police.
In the early hours of Wednesday (10), the body of a man who died in a house fire in the Kolavil 02 area of Akkaraipattu was found.
During the post-mortem performed at the Akkaraipattu Base Hospital concluded that the actual cause of death was a haemorrhage following an incised wound of the neck.
Further investigations into the incident led to the arrest of the wife of the deceased and her paramour, who is also a resident of the Kolavil 02 area.
