Fonseka challenges Court Martial decision

Former Army Chief Sarath Fonseka today filed a case at the Appeal Court challenging the decision of the First court martial. In the case he requested the Court to overturn the decision stripping him of his military rank.

 

Fonseka further states that he was not given a fair trial by the Court Martial and named the three Majors General who presided over the proceedings as the respondents.
