All schools in Puttalam District to remain closed tomorrow

All schools in the Puttalam district will be closed on Monday (May 20) due to the adverse weather conditions.

This decision has been taken by the Governor of the North-Western Province in consideration of the prevailing inclement weather.

It has been informed that a decision on the subsequent days would be taken according to the weather condition tomorrow and that the Chief Secretary of the North Western Province has informed the Provincial Education Director regarding this decision.
