Schools in Puttalam District to remain closed tomorrow

All schools in the Puttalam District will be closed tomorrow (May 21) as well due to the continuing adverse weather conditions, the Education Director of the North-Western Province said.

The schools in the district were instructed to remain closed today in consideration of the prevailing inclement weather experienced in the district.

It is reported that heavy rainfall has resulted in several schools in the district being inundated.
