Unidentified body found on beach in Wadduwa; Murder suspected

Wadduwa Police says that the body of an unidentified person who is suspected to have been murdered has been discovered on the Pohaddaramulla Beach in Wadduwa.

The deceased was found with his face tied up covered with his own T-shirt while the identity of the person has not yet been ascertained.

Police describe the deceased to be a male, aged between 40 and 45, wearing blue denim pants and a white undershirt.

Panadura Division Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO) are scheduled to visit the location where the body was found for further examination.
