“This election is about building the country together” - Anura Kumara

National People’s Party (NPP) presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake says that the upcoming election would be a pivotal moment for uniting the country to overcome its challenges. 

Speaking at a rally in Ampara yesterday (13), Dissanayake emphasized the collective effort required to drive the nation forward.

“This election is about building the country together,” Dissanayake said. 

“When the people needed fertilizer for their crops, Ranil stayed at home. In contrast, we have a strong agricultural plan in place. We are committed to ensuring that the needs of farmers and citizens are met”, he added.
