First polling division result of General Election released

The first polling division result of the 2024 General Election is out with the release of the result of the Galle polling division in Galle District.
The National People’s Power (NPP) has received the highest number of votes in the polling division with a total of 39,707 votes.
National People’s Power (NPP) – 39,707 (70.16%)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) - 9,410 (16.63%)
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 3,741
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 1,885
