All 33 persons trapped in Giribawa rescued by SLAF helicopter

All 33 individuals who were trapped in the Giribawa area of Rajanganaya have been successfully rescued by a Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Mi-17 helicopter, the Air Force announced.

The rescued individuals were subsequently airlifted to the Air Force Base in Anuradhapura for further assistance and safety.
