Nayaru main bridge in Mullaitivu collapses amid heavy flooding

The Disaster Management Centre in Mullaitivu has stated that the Nayaru main bridge, Mullaitivu has been completely collapsed due to severe flooding.   

As a result of the damage, vehicular movement along the Mullaitivu–Welioya, Mullaitivu–Trincomalee, and Mullaitivu–Kokkilai routes has been disrupted, the Centre said.
