USD/LKR Spot Rate surpasses Rs. 310 mark for the first time since Feb. 2024

The indicative USD/LKR spot rate quoted by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has surpassed the Rs. 310 mark for the first time since 29 February 2024.

Accordingly, the spot rate was recorded as Rs. 310.02 today (07).

According to today’s CBSL exchange rates, the buying rate of the US Dollar stood at Rs. 306.28 while the selling rate was Rs. 313.81.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka rupee had depreciated by more than 5 per cent against the US dollar in 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
