Exams Dept. issues special notice on O/L admission cards

The Department of Examinations has issued a special notice regarding the issuance of admission cards for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination 2025 (2026).

The Commissioner General Examinations noted that candidates can download or make changes to the admission cards for the O/L Examination until midnight on February 10, 2026.

Accordingly, private candidates who need to make changes to their admission cards must visit the official website, enter their National Identity Card number, and make the necessary corrections.

The Commissioner General of Examinations, Indika Kumari Liyanage stated that the period granted to make changes will not be extended.

The GCE Ordinary Level Examination will be held from February 17 to February 26 at 3,545 examination centers across the country.

Admission cards for school candidates sitting for this year’s examination have already been issued to the relevant schools through the Zonal Education Offices.

Accordingly, all principals must collect the admission cards from the Deputy / Assistant Director of Education in charge of examinations at their respective Zonal Education Offices.

Admission cards for private candidates will be sent by post to their personal residential addresses.

If there are any corrections required in the admission cards of school candidates, principals should log in to the Sri Lanka Examinations Department website www.doenets.lk using the username and password provided to them, and make the necessary amendments.
