Magnitude 6.2 earthquake strikes off Japan’s Honshu

An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 struck off the east coast of Japan’s largest island, Honshu, on Thursday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), GFZ said.
