Nine suspects arrested over homicide in Mattakkuliya

A total of nine suspects were arrested yesterday (April 2) by the Sri Lanka Police in connection with the fatal stabbing of an individual in the Mattakkuliya area.
The homicide occurred on the night of March 31, and the arrests were made following a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
According to the police, the suspects, aged between 19 and 40, are residents of the Mattakkuliya area.
The suspects are scheduled to be produced before the Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court today (April 3) for further legal proceedings.
