CID records statement from Prof. Maithree Wickremesinghe

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has recorded a statement from Professor Maithree Wickremesinghe, wife of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The CID officers had reportedly visited their residence today to record the statement in connection with an ongoing investigation.
