Iran sends latest proposal to US in negotiations for deal to end war, Iranian media reports

Iran has sent its latest proposal to the US to end the war via Pakistani mediators, according to Iranian media outlet IRNA.

The update came after negotiations between Tehran and Washington appeared to have stalled.

The two countries reached an agreement for a ceasefire on 8 April, but talks have been under way to strike a deal on a more permanent peace.
