Prices of 13 essential items have been reduced by the Interim Budget 2015, Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake said.

Sugar Rs 10 per kilo
Milk Rs 61 per 400g packet
Sustagen milk powder Rs 100 per 400g 
Wheat flour Rs 12.50 per kilo (with immediate effect)
Bred Rs 6
Mung bean Rs 40 per kilo
Canned fish Rs 50
Coriander Rs 46 to 20 per kilo
Chili powder Rs 25 per kilo
Sprat fish Rs 26 per kilo
LP Gas Rs 300 per 12.5 kilo gas cylinder
Turmeric Rs 100 per kilo
Maldive fish Rs 200 per kilo
