Former Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena has requested the anti-graft commission to expedite investigations into a complaint filed against him by the Ceylon Teachers’ Services Union.

CTSU Secretary Mahinda Jayasinghe yesterday lodged the complaint with the commission alleging tender fraud during the construction of Mahindodaya Technical laboratories.

Gunawardena visited the Commission to Investigate Allegation of Bribery or Corruption this morning and handed over a written request to its secretary.

He has requested the commission to expedite investigations into the complaint and proceed with due action against those found guilty.
