Public opinion survey is underway on 100-day programme: PM

The Government has launched a special survey to find out the opinion of the general public and to analyze the progress of the 100-days programme, Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe said in a statement today (1).

“Details of this programme could be obtained from Website www.pmm.gov.lk.

Aim of the government is to carry out this programme effectively in a transparent manner with maximum public participation.

With regard to the 100 day programme public can submit their ideas, proposals, allegations or criticism to Director General, project management and observation Department, Central Bank Building JanadhipathiMawatha, Colombo 01.

Any Communication can be directed through internet on the following email address too.  100dayfeedback@pmm.gov.lk Public also can use the telephone 011-2477915 to express their opinions,” the statement sated.

Newly-elected President Maithripala Sirisena, who was sworn in on Jan. 9, has pledged that within 100 days of taking office he will reduce the powers of the presidency in favor of parliament, boost salaries of state employees, protect religious minorities and call parliamentary elections in April.
