Met. Dept. predicts thundershowers in the sea areas

The Met. Dept. says that several spells of showers will occur in the sea area off the coast extending from Puttalam to Pottuvil via Colombo, Galle and Hambantota.
Showers or thundershowers may develop at several places in the sea areas around the island as well. Winds will be Southwesterly and speed will be 20-40 kmph.
Gulf of Mannar and Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota sea areas will be fairly rough at times as the winds can strengthen up to 50 kmph at times.
