Defence Seminar 2015 begins today

The ‘Defence Seminar 2015’ organised by the Sri Lanka Army for the 5th time will be held at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo, said Army Commander Lt.Gen. Chrishantha de Silva.
Former Afghan President Hameed Karzai who arrived yesterday will be the Chief Guest at the seminar attended by 350 invitees including foreign diplomats and delegates.
The seminar on the theme “National Security amidst global challenges” will include nine sessions. Afghan President Hameed Karzai, Defence Secretary B.M.U.D. Basnayake and Lt.Gen.Chrishantha de Silva will deliver the inaugural lectures.
