Korea jobs for Lankans in fisheries sector

The applications for the recruitment for jobs in the fisheries sector in South Korea will be issued from October 19-21, the Government Information Department announced today.


The application forms concerned can be obtained from training centres of the Foreign Employment Bureau in Galle, Matara, Hambantota, Gampaha, Trincomalee, Ratmalana, Anuradhapura and Chilaw. On those between 18 and 39 years of age are eligible to apply for the Language Proficiency Examination.
 

It is intended to send around 700 persons for jobs in the fisheries sector. Nearly 5,600 Sri Lankans had been sent for jobs in South Korea during the last nine months of this year.
