Gotabaya among 5 grilled by probe commission

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa appeared before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (CoI) investigating large-scale corruption to give a statement this morning.

Rajapaksa arrived at the commission at around 9.00am to participate in the proceeding of the probe into the Rakna Lanka company, a spokesman said. 

Meanwhile four former navy officers were also summoned by the commission today to give evidence pertaining to the investigation.
