President leaves for Singapore to visit Rajitha in hospital

President Maithripala Sirisena has left the country for Singapore to visit Health Minister Dr Rajitha Senaratne, who is currently receiving treatment at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

He boarded SriLankan Airline flight UL 302 at around 7.41am this morning at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake, Ada Derana reporter said.

The Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine was admitted to a private hospital in Colombo on February 19 for a medical check-up, however due to requests made by his kith and kin he was admitted to a hospital in Singapore for further tests.
