John Amaratunga takes oath as Minister of Lands

John Amaratunga took oath as the Minister of Lands before the President today (2), in addition to his portfolio as the Minister of Tourism.

He will fill the ministerial portfolio left vacant by the demise of late Minister of Lands, M.K.A.D.S. Gunawardena, who passed away on January 19.

Amaratunga, who is the current Minister of Tourism Development and Christian Religious Affairs, took oath before President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s House in Colombo, the PMD said.
