Five suspects arrested over Dankotuwa charred bodies

Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the investigations into the recent discovery of multiple charred bodies inside a burned-out van in Bujjampola-Irabadagama, Dankotuwa. 

It has been reported that the arrested suspects are residents of Makandura area.

Five charred bodies were discovered inside a burned-out van in a by-road in Bujjampola-Irabadagama on March 11. 

Preliminary investigations were carried out by Dankotuwa Police while the investigations was later handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) as ordered by the IGP. 

The suspects were arrested by the CID who visited the scene on the crime yesterday for investigations.
