The executive presidency should not be abolished, Minister Patali Ranawaka asserted.

The observation was made while speaking at the launching ceremony of his book Warning! An Econmic Crisis is Ahead held this afternoon (20).

The Minister also went on to say as a democratic country though the independence of judiciary exists here, a proper mechanism should be implemented in a bid to manage the judicial system.

Minister Ranawaka also admitted the fact that there is an economic crisis in Sri Lanka at the moment, but not only the Yahapalana Government should be blamed for that.
