Nisha Biswal arrives in Sri Lanka

The US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Desai Biswal arrived in Sri Lanka a short while ago on Tuesday. 


She was accompanied by the Deputy Assistant Secretary for South Asia Manpreet Singh Anand.


Biswal will meet with the senior government officials and political leaders to discuss bilateral economic cooperation as well as democratic governance and reconciliation, the Spokesperson’s Office of the U.S. Department of State said.
