An effort is underway to make Sri Lanka a colony of the United States, Convener of the Jathika Emamuthuwa Dr. Gunadasa Amarasekera says.

The observation was made while speaking at a press conference held in Colombo this afternoon (21).

He also went on to say the government is conspiring to change the policies of the country amid international pressure.

“They are eyeing to westernise the judicial system of the country as well,” Amarasekera added.

He also pointed out that not only the policies, but steps have already been taken to amend the Constitution too according to the needs of foreign elements.
