Amaratunga predicts police’s next arrest to be made

August 15, 2016   04:32 pm

A prominent member of the former Government would be arrested ‘next’, Minister John Amaratunga predicts.

The observation was made while speaking to reporters after an event held in Wattala this morning.

Amaratunga also suggested the ‘next’ member that the police are eyeing to arrest is the one who blames the present government over its failure to take legal action against corrupt politicians.

He also went on to say that most of the opposition members who make allegations against the government are corrupt and who had granted bail by courts recently.
