Keselwatta police summons Gammanpila

Pivithuru Hela Urumaya leader Udaya Gammanpila has been summoned by the Keselwatta police to record a statement, the police said.


The MP was summoned following a directive issued by the Attorney General’s Department over a statement he made to the media in connection with a court order, an official said.


Gammanpila had arrived at the police station to give the statement at 10.30 p.m. today, the official added.
