Navy nabs a person with 50 kg of Kerala Cannabis

The Navy has arrested a person with 50 kg of Kerala Cannabis in the seas North of Point Pedro.
A dinghy used for the transportation of cannabis and related gear onboard were also taken into naval custody. The arrest was made personnel onboard P 483 Fast Attack Craft which was on routine patrol, attached to the Northern Naval Command, the Navy said in a statement today.
The arrested person and belongings were handed over to Kankesanthurei Police for onward action.
