Norochcholai power plant goes down

A tripping of the Anuradhapura transmission line has caused the Lakvijaya coal power plant in Norochcholai to temporarily cease operations. 

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) said that power will be restored to the affected area within 2 hours.
