Karu Jayasuriya’s daughter passes away

Sanjeewani Indira Jayasuriya, a daughter of Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, has passed away at the age of 40.
The mother of two, who is married and living in England, had passed away after a long battle with cancer, according to sources close the family.
Sanjeewani, who is the veteran politician’s second daughter, had passed away on Wednesday (2) and is expected to be laid to rest in England.
Family members including Speaker Karu Jayasuriya have already reached the country, according to reports.
