Police use tear gas to disperse crowd

The police have used tear gas and water to disperse the members involved in the students protest organized by the Inter- University Students Federation. 

The incident has occurred in the Colombo Fort region, Ada Derana reporters reveal. 

The attack had occurred as some members had managed to break down the barricades and had tried to forcibly enter the Presidential Secretariat.
