Thirteen students injured after school roof collapsed

Thirteen students have been hospitalized after a classroom ceiling collapsed on them at the Sirimalwatta Maha Vidyala in Gunnepana, within the Wattegama educational district.
The students were admitted to the Kandy Teaching Hospital following the incident this morning (30).
The director of the Kandy Teaching Hospital stated that the students are currently receiving treatment, and are in stable condition.
