Special unit to investigate Organised Crime

Sri Lanka Police have set up a new division to investigate organized crime in the country. 

The unit which was originally known as the Crime Prevention Division, is located on No.09, Mihidu Mawatha, Colombo 12. 

Under the supervision of officer, Nandana Munasingha, the unit will focus on tackling issue pertaining to organized crime, gang related crime and the arresting of individuals linked to activities of this nature, across the island. 

The unit is a 24-hour service run by Sri Lanka police, and if anyone is to make a complain regarding a related issue, their contact lines would be;
