The Galle court issued an order preventing any party from conducting protests before the Boossa detention camp against the Rohingya refugees.

The Rohingya refugees were transferred to the Boossa detention camp on September 26, after a group of radical monks and a large mob caused a commotion in front of a safe house that the refugees were stationed at.

The refugees that included a contingent of 14 children, 7 women and 7 men, were transferred to the Boossa detention camp under Police protection for security concerns.
