Term of North-Central PC ends

The official term of the North Central Provincial Council will come to an end at midnight today (01).

Accordingly, control of the North Central Provincial Council will come under Governor P.B Dissanayake.

The sixth term of office of the North Central Provincial Council will end  today.

The last session of the Provincial Council was held on September 28.

At the 2012 elections, 21 UPFA members of the UPFA, 11 members from the UNP and one from the JVP were elected to the North Central Provincial Council.

The term of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council concluded on last Saturday and the term of office of the Eastern Provincial Council ended yesterday(30).
