Petroleum Resources Development Minister Arjuna Ranatunga should reveal the names of two Ministers whom he alleged over the fuel crisis, said Pivithuru Hela Urumaya leader Udaya Gammanpila.

He made this statement while addressing a media held at Colombo today (13).

“The Former Petroleum Ministers are Karu Jayasuriya, A.H.M. Fowzie, Susil Premajayantha, Anura Yapa, Champika Ranawaka and Chandima Weerakkody. Minister Arjuna should reveal the names of the two Ministers of whom he alleged. If not he is doing an immense injustice to other four Ministers.” He said.

Gammanpila also said that the Minister Ranathunga should not only reveal their names but should also take necessary legal actions against them.

“If not the country will have to face such plagues in the future as well.” he said.

Meanwhile,Gammanpila also said that  although this government had made news headlines about “mega deals” during the last presidential election the government had not been able to reveal any of these transactions untill today.

The government’s loans have now increased to 10,286 and accordingly, the loan amount will increased by 39% by the next two and half years, Gammanpila added.
