Tomorrow is not a public holiday

October 28, 2018   08:56 pm

Government Information Department issuing a special statement affirms that tomorrow (29) has not been declared a public holiday.

The SMS news alert that is being spread across the public stating that the Presidential Secretariat has issued a gazette declaring tomorrow (29.10.2018) a public holiday is completely false.

Accordingly, public is to be informed that tomorrow is a general working day, stated Government Information Department.

Ada Derana wishes to clarify that no such breaking news SMS alert was sent by Ada Derana and the relevant news alert is fake and has been sent by a third party.
