Sri Lankan rupee continues freefall, hits record low

The Sri Lankan rupee dropped to a record low on Tuesday with the selling price surpassing the 175 mark for the first time in history.

The current selling price is 175.56 against the US Dollar while the buying rate is recorded as 171.67 by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
